"Anthurium Cultivar Named Kalapana"
Description
The new anthurium cultivar, "Kalapana," has been bred to tolerate the
systemic phase of bacterial blight and resist the attack of anthracnose.
Kalapana is a red and green flower with a triangular, "obake" spathe about
7 inches across and 7 inches wide. The blossom yield of Kalapana averages
6.0 flowers per plant per year.

Main Advantages
The beautiful flower has a reclining spadix and is carried on a long erect
peduncle. The cultivar is resistant to anthracnose and tolerant to the
systemic phase of bacterial blight.
